It's hard not to love pine squirrels. They have been a common sight everywhere I have lived in Canada. In the spring the young squirrels annoy my dog Charlie immensely, being completely oblivious to what a big, fierce creature he is (he's not), in the fall I love watching the adults collecting and drying various fungi in the trees ready for winter storage. Moose are amazing, when they move at speed it is like an avalanche, their size and power is incredible, even if they do look like they have an excess of knees!
